The common task for managing a website or e-learning system is regular sending information via email (for example reports for some learning module or for signing in into specific group). Scheduled emails feature is designed to sort those kind of tasks.
This page provides you a complete tool for manage such kind of emails. It contains five tabs:
Send information

- Title - user-friendly name of the task
- Notes - notes for administrators internal use
- Email subject
- Email for address - to specify a email address for emails should coming from
Message

- Message template - body of the email message
- Attachment - here you can specify any of the existing reports in CSV format to automate it’s sending
Schedule

- Frequency - how often it should work (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, annual)
- Enable/Disable - switcher for enabling or disabling task
- Multiples - how many times this task will work
- Hour of day to run - for specify an hour of day when task should work (please note a current hour counter – this is a debug counter which shows what time is it)
- Start date - specifies a start date for task
- End date - optional field for specify end time of the task

Here you add or remove groups of users which will receive this email

This is a complete list of every email which was send as a result of working current task. Each string subject is clickable and leads you to details for one chosen email.
While editing task properties do not forget to save changes by pressing an appropriate button. There is also a possibility to test email sending to watch how it will looks in real conditions. To do that you should press test button. Be aware that there is not possibility to choose recipient for the test email before sending on this page. The email will send to administrators of your organization.
